Symbolic Interaction


I expected a talk on symbols in history, something akin to understanding the cross, hand holding, or maybe Christmas trees. Something historical, something we still do, and something pagan. Instead, the speaker, Jan Muto, talks about language and social interaction. Though I arrived seventeen minutes late, I feel the topics were fairly consistent.
